In totaal zijn er 366 exemplaren van deze lichte tweecylinder goederenlocs gebouwd. De sneltreinlocs van de serie 03 hebben voor de 41 model gestaan, het ontwerp is op de serie 03 gebaseerd.<br \/>\nNa de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd een gedeelte van de locs verbouwd en kreeg een nieuwe ketel.<br \/>\nEen aantal werd omgebouwd op oliestook.
