Foto Volker Thies\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl>\n\t\t\t<br style='clear: both' \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Het station Arfurt (Lahn) is een halte in het Runkel- district Arfurt aan de Lahntalbahn .<\/p>\n<p>Oorspronkelijk had Arfurt geen eigen station op de Lahntalbahn. Tussen 1860 en 1862 werd er een spoorwachtershuis gebouwd aan de voet van het dorp en bij de opening op 14 oktober 1862 van het stuk spoorlijn tussen de stations van Limburg a\/d Lahn en Weilburg,\u00a0in gebruik werd genomen. \u00a0Het treinstation van Arfurt ligt op ongeveer een kilometer afstand buiten Arfurt. De halte werd in 1897 gebouwd als een vrachtlaadpunt voor de Lahnkalkwerk Auerberg, een beetje later werd ook het passagiersverkeer in bedrijf genomen.<\/p>\n<p>De stationsgebouwen vormen een unieke combinatie van vakwerk- en golfplaten gebouwen. Net als de hele spoorlijn is dit gebouw ook een beschermd monument. Terwijl de golfplaten hut dienst doet als wachtkamer, is in het vakwerkhuis, dat nog steeds in gebruik is, een seinhuisje ondergebracht.<\/p>\n<p>In tegenstelling tot de meeste haltes langs de Lahntalbahn, wordt het station van Arfurt nauwelijks gebruikt door fietstoeristen, aangezien het Lahntalradweg langs de andere kant van de rivier loopt.
